You clutched your arm around the pillow
and I was jealous that I couldn't feel your embrace
Your fingers danced across your keyboard
and I was sad I couldn't feel them across my skin
Your lips touched the cup as you drank your water
and all I could think about was how you should be drinking me instead
Your smile will always be my favorite smile, although it's your one insecurity.
That little void just on the brink of your iris and the white of your eye will be my favorite shade of milky brown
You say that you don't like your face. You don't like much about yourself. But that's okay, I'll like you enough for the both of us.

I Woke Up Wanting You
In the early morning I ran my hand through the sheets and found an empty bed
I heard your voice in the birds song outside my window
I saw your eyes in the moon that still hung low in the sky
I smelled you in my cup of tea, although I know you prefer coffee.
I felt your presence around me from the memories of you scattered around the house,
But none compare to the warm embrace of your arms.
This morning, like every morning, I woke up to the same empty feeling of you being miles away from me.
And this morning, like every morning, I woke up wanting you.
She comes... and stays.
The change is prominent between the lines.
She sticks to Her 99¢ big city dreams despite coming down from the clouds.
The crash was hard, but She knew reality was a brick wall.
She cracks from her shell and starts her journey.
She weaves a rope from the hair She's failed to upkeep,
breaks a piece of Her rib to fashion a hook.
The feeling of freedom is greater than the pain she feels.
She throws her make-shift grapple for the top and she starts to climb.
She navigates the memories of His abuse,
She swerves through the thoughts of self harm— and the easy way out.
She dodges the poisonous words pelting Her from
A grey mist you conjured around my mind
My love for you dear is everlasting
The feelings you kept around me were kind
You make me feel like a real human being
When I am with you I feel ador-ed
I feel so beautiful, ever so great
When I am with you, you fuck with my head
my inner-mind is not in a good state.
But you are like fire to my gasoline
You make me someone else I am not me
You make me scared, you make me act so mean
You need to leave my life, just let me be
I'm better without you, you need to go.
I'm done with you, no one will ever know.

It's 1:44 in the Morning
You're on the other end
and I'm drunk
I'm laughing at everything possible
and you sigh and tell me I'm stupid as fuck
but in the same breath you tell me you love me more than anything
You tell me you love me more than I could know
You whisper about how you're happy we met
And how you'd give anything to hold me right in this second
Your small laugh wraps itself around me and holds me in that fleeting second of happiness
You haven't the slightest idea what you do to me
or How many times I catch myself smiling at nothing because you danced across my mind
or How I laugh in the silence because I remember a story from your childhood
or I remembe
Shine moon, So bright
Lighting up the sky's at night
Pail moon, Ivory moon
The Sun will come but I'll see you soon,
See you soon in my dreams, where your light always beams
Shine moon, So Bright,
You are my world,
You are my light.

Whenever I feel like I need to write, I take copious amounts of pills.
Narcotics, naturally, to get my creative juices flowing.
Typically I just fall asleep pretty soon after.
But no one romanticises drug abuse like I do!
